Mytheon Overview and Recent Content

Mytheon, in development from Petroglyph Studios, is an upcoming game that seeks to blend MMORPG action with strategy elements. The game, which is scheduled to be free to play and microtransaction supported, revolves around a system of Power Stones, which can be used in many ways to customize characters, powers, and strategy. It is set in a time when the age of the gods is coming to an end and the age of humanity is dawning. first, however, humans must prove themselves via a tournament. The Power Stones confer abilities, allow for the summoning of creatures or objects, and also help their user in battle. A character Mytheon Gold may equip several stones at once, leading to a host of unique strategic combinations. Each race has some stones unique to its people, and there are several hundred stones in total. 

Mytheon also contains more traditional RPG elements such as hunting, quests, customization and other methods of leveling through XP gain. Players may earn new gear and new stones as they grow in level. PvP is available in one on one duels or in mass arena mode. Petroglyph also promises content updates based upon ancient myths to be added regularly.
